The Boroondara Council is considering the construction of a new rotunda as a replacement of the original rotunda in Surrey Gardens and the Association attended a meeting together with other interested parties, including the Surrey Hills Historical Society and the Surrey Hills Neighbourhood Centre to discuss the draft plans. The proposal is in its early stages. The draft design is similar to the original but on a single level for maximum access.
